Harvey, ND

Back in December the SADD group at Harvey High School sponsored the tree of lights.  The 79 member organization sold bulbs which either said Because I Love You, Because You’re my Friend, or In Memory of.  The colored paper bulbs were hung on a large paper Christmas tree in the HHS gym.  This was SADD’s big fundraiser with the proceeds covering chapter expenses.  Mrs. Beckee Keller is the local chapter’s advisor.

Each year the FCCLA students host a “Family Fun Night.”   One of the National Programs for the students is Families First.  The event gives families a chance to spend time together.  This year they had 40 kids, 25 parents and 34 members.   Some of the activities included musical chairs, coloring, board games, bingo, gym games and a scavenger hunt.  Everyone involved had a great evening of fun!  Thank you to all of the students who made the evening such a success!
