FCCLA Homeless Night

January 31st, 2008 by devon

On September 15th FCCLA kids collected food for the food pantry. They listened to speakers at the Harvey High School and watched the Pursuit of Happiness. After the movie, they took boxes and blankets to the football field to camp outside for the night. At 6:00 in the morning, they all had muffins and hot chocolate. It was a great learning experience and many FCCLA students got to know what its like to be homeless.

Homeless Night was a lot of fun and a good experience, as it is every year. Mrs. Walsh and all of the FCCLA members do a great job at putting everything together.
