FCCLA Bowling Night
Monday, February 25th, 2008The Harvey FCCLA is having a bowling night on Friday, February 29 at the bowling alley. It should be a lot of fun and hopefully there will be a good turn out.

Boy are in District Tourenments in Devils Lake at the Sports Center. They played the Fourwind Indians on Saturday February 23, 2008. They will be playing the Carrington Cardinals on Monday February 25, 2008 at Devils Lakes in the Sports Center to. GOOD LUCK
The Harvey High School Science Fair was held on February 20th from 3:15 to 5:00 pm. The science fair was very interesting to see the ideas that the students came up with and was very informative to watch the projects.
A congratulations go to the girls basketball team on the 4th place at 2008 regionals and on a great season.
This wednesday, February 27 FCCLA members in Distict #2 involved in star events will get judged by a number of judges in disticts. They will compete to see if the make it to state and will then compete at the state convention April 6-8 to go to nationals. Nationals is held during the summer July 13-17 in Orlando, Florida.
On February 20, 2008, the Harvey High School held a Science Fair. They were judged by Derek Wentz, Michael Schild, Corbin Zerr, and Rachael Vetter. It was held from 3:30 to 5:00. Everyone put a lot of time into it and did a good job.
February 20 at Harvey High School the freshman science class had to display their project. There were many good projects. The judges were Mike Schild, Corbin Zerr, Derek Wentz, and Rachael Vetter.
The Harvey Boy Scouts are taking a ski on March 2nd. The Boy Scouts are taking the ski trip to get there for the Snow Sports Badge. While they are there they are going to have to do stop carve and other ski related ski things to get there badge.
On Sunday, Feb 24, the HHS Band & Choir, Jr. High Band & Choir, and the Harvey Centennial Singers held their 2nd annual Pops Concert. The main purpose for this concert was to raise money for the HHS Choir’s trip to Chicago in May. The songs were from the 50’s to the present.
The Jamestown College Choir will be performing the 1st of March at the First Lutheran Church of Harvey. Also Performing will be the Centennial Singers. The Concert Starts at 7:30.
