Sources of Strength

The Sources of Strength is the model we use for suicide prevention, which emphasizes assuring that all individuals have access to the eight components that assure health. Components consist of family support, good friends, healthy activities, role models/mentors, spirituality, opportunities for generosity and leadership, access to medical services and access to mental health services. For more information on the Sources of Strength or suicide prevention, contact the St. Aloisius Community Volunteer Program at 701-324-4769 Ext. 342.
